Just Board, Totally Board, and Extreme Board
QVSC provides snowboarding programs for all level of riders. Our coachs are CSF trained and certified. The programs work on all aspects of freestyle and free riding techniques.
The beginner program is just that, getting new riders up and going. Coach to athlete ratio is kept low so the program can be adjusted to meet the needs of the riders. Athletes are encouraged to try new things on the snowboard to keep their skill level advancing. If the athletes have fun in the process, it's a risk we are willing to take!
Totally Board is a mid level group with the focus on skill improvement and attending competitions. 6 hours of training per week.
Extreme Board is for athletes wanting to compete at a higher level with the hopes of attracting a sponsor and competing at a pre-provincial team level. Extra coaching will be on a user pay system, over and above the fee for Totally Board. 9+ hours of training per week. (acceptance into this program is dependant on skill).
Snowboarding is a young sport in Canada. There are now many opportunities for athletes to move on to national competitions. The QVSC program can be the first step in that journey.
QVSC is sanctioned by the Saskatchewan Snowboard Association (SSA).
Important: A separate membership form must be filled out for each Snowstar or Alpine racer, Also Guardians and family members (brothers & sisters) must fill out individual forms. These forms are to be handed in with program registration.
