Development Team
The Development Team bridges the gap to the Alpine Race Team. Although the main focus of the program is the acquisition and refinement of technical skills through free skiing, athletes will also be introduced to gate training and race strategies.
Members of the Development Team are expected to compete in all NGSL races and are also given the opportunity to compete in selected Sask Cup Races as determined by the coaching staff on an individual basis. Development Team members are eligible to attend QVSC mountain camps and other special training events. Athletes are encouraged to participate in a fall dryland program run by the Head Coach.
Important: A separate membership form must be filled out for each Snowstar or Alpine racer, Also Guardians and family members (brothers & sisters) must fill out individual forms. These forms are to be handed in with program registration.
